.8 oz gin
1/3 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 1/2 tsp maraschino liqueur
Dash crème de violette
Well-chilled Champagne, to top up
Maraschino cherry, to garnish
Pour the first four ingredients into an ice-filled cocktail shaker and stir well.
Strain into a chilled Champagne coupe and top up with Champagne. Garnish with a maraschino cherry on a stainless-steel cocktail stick and serve.
